Prepare to take an entrance exam, occupational license or brush up skills.

Course Reserves

Textbooks and other class materials are placed on reserve by instructors at the Circulation Desk at the front of the library. These items can't leave the library, but you can check them out to use within the library. To search course reserves, click on the link below. 

DCCCD Resources

When accessing databases from home you will be asked for a user ID and password. Please follow the below examples to gain access.

Use the DCCCD Library Catalog to search for items located at any of the Dallas County Community College District colleges, including:

  • Printed Books
  • eBooks
  • DVDs

To search the catalog, go to the search box below, enter your search terms, and click on the magnifying glass or hit enter.

To place a request for a book in the catalog sign in with your econnect email and password.

Books at Other Libraries

If you'd like to search for items at other libraries, WorldCat can help. WorldCat lets you search the collections of libraries in your community and thousands more around the world. Books, periodical articles, and other items not available from DCCCD can be requested via Interlibrary Loan. Click on the link below for more information and to make a request. NOTE: Textbooks are not available through the Interlibrary Loan program.
